God Loves a Cheerful Giver

  It's in that moment where the pastor walks back on stage and the Worship Leader strums his final chord.   It's in that two-minute routine where the congregation tunes out and the pastor awkwardly carries out his weekly duties and says a few lines about it. It's time to pass the plate and obligatorily say a few lines about Biblical Generosity.   "God loves a cheerful giver", the pastor might say before calling the ushers to come forward. God certainly does love a joyful, loving, self-sacrificing, and cheerful giver. But not because He needs your money. God doesn't need your money - but God wants you to experience the terrifically- thrilling, life-changing joy of being generous. "National Christian Foundation"? It sounded familiar. It sounded like an important organization for sure. But I had no idea.  I'd never heard of the National Christian Foundation or it's ministry before. A quick Google search reveals that NCF certainly is a large organization - with a Christ-centered mission! More than $16 billion to charity around the world?? How can that be?   How could I work in Christian ministry - at large churches for nearly 10 years and not know about an organization this large, with this much impact?  My name is Ryan Klund and I'm the newest employee here at the National Christian Foundation - Wisconsin , working in Relational Marketing.  When God opened the door for me to join the mission and work being done here at NCF WI, I didn't know much about Giant Generosity.  I've known very generous people in my life - that's for sure.
